If -Clauses - (Condition Sentence -ประโยคแสดงเงื่อนไข )
There's 3 types classified by Tense. มี 3 ลำดับตามเหตุการณ์

1. เป็นเงื่อนไขที่เป็นจริงได้ในปัจจุบัน - possible in present time.
    If + Present Simple, Future Simple.
    If I find it, I will return to you.
    ถ้าฉันหาเจอ ฉันจะเอาไปคืนให้เธอนะ

2. เป็นเงื่อนไขที่ไม่สามารถเป็นจริงได้ในปัจจุบัน - not possible in present time.
    If + Past Simple, (S+ would/could/might + V1 )
    If I knew his number, I would call him.
    ถ้าตอนนี้ฉันรู้เบอร์เค้า ฉันก็โทรหาเค้าแล้วล่ะ

3. เป็นเงื่อนไขที่ไม่สามารถเป็นจริงได้ในอดีต - not possible in the past.
    If + Past Perfect, (S+would/could/might + have + V3 )
    If I had known his number, I would have called him.
    ถ้าตอนนั้นฉันรู้เบอร์เค้า ฉันคงได้โทรหาเค้าตั้งแต่ตอนนั้นแล้วล่ะ

นอกจากนี้ยังใช้กับสิ่งที่เป็นจริงเสมอ - always True
    If + Present Simple, Present Simple
    If you heat water, it boils.
   ถ้าคุณต้มน้ำ น้ำก็เดือด
